-Disable commentary:

To get rid of Rodman's voice, go to the Options menu and change 

Zack's voice to Japanese. 

 

-Skip to Ending :

Once you've finished the game once, you will be able to skip to the 

end of the two weeks with any girl. Go to the Hotel or Poolside 

menu and select "Leave Tomorrow" to end the game after that night. 

 

-Start With More Items :

To begin with a ton of items, give a bunch of gifts to a specific 

lady. Then finish the current game and start a new one (with your 

old save) and play as the woman you gave gifts to. Whatever she 

keeps will be in her Item inventory when you begin a game with her. 

 

-Start With More Money, Courtesy of DOA3 :

Play Dead or Alive 3 and rack up a decent number of wins in 

Survival Mode with a female character who appears in DOA XBV. Then 

begin a game with that same character in DOA XBV. The number of 

wins you generated in DOA3 will directly contribute to the amount 

of money you begin your new game with. The default is 10,000, but 

if you have 50 wins in Survival, you'll start with 50,000, for 

example. 

 

-Unlock Swimsuits For Exhibition :

To have more swimsuit choices in Exhibition Mode, buy or acquire 

suits in the Zack's Island game. Whatever you gain in that game 

will be available for the Exhibition beach.



-Camera Lock :

To lock the camera moved with the left thumb stick, click it in the 

position you want to lock it in. To lock the camera moved with the 

right thumb stick, click it in the position you want to lock it in. 

To lock the zoom, zoom and then press x. To unlock any of these, 

just press the button you used to lock it.  



-Survival Mode Clues :

The last clue in the manual that hints at a link to DOA3 refers to 

the items you get from attacking downed opponents. In DOA3's 

Survival Mode, when you successfully attack a prone opponent, the 

items that pop out are the ones that the character you are playing 

likes in DOAXVB. 



Example: Christie attacks a prone opponent and a small red race car 

         pops out. The clue is that Christie likes driving. 



Example: Kasumi attacks a prone opponent and a strawberry 

         millefuille pops out. The clue is that Kasumi likes that 

         food item. 



NOTE: This is the "link to Survival mode" implied by Tecmo/Team 

      Ninja - not the 10,000 x number of wins hint (which is a fake 

      board rumor). 



-Preferred gifts:

Ayane    : Peridot, Beauty Treatment, Marrons Glace, Shuriken

Christie : Turquoise, Tomato Juice, Steering Wheel, Collar, Animal 

           Prints 

Helena   : Garnet, Blancmange, Seaworld Ticket, Dolphin Brooch, 

           Dolphin Clock, music or opera items

Hitomi   : Emerald, Sachetorte, Frying Pan, Microwave, Recipe

Kasumi   : Amethyst, Strawberry Millefeuille, Crystal Ball, Tarot 

           Cards, Shuriken

Lei Fong : Diamond, Chinese Dessert, Aroma Pot, Panda, Oreial 

           swimsuits, stuffed toys, diamonds 

Lisa     : Ruby, Cherry Pie, Research Book

Tina     : Turquoise, Prototype Xbox, Sapphire Brooch, Lobster, 

           Crab 



-Extra items:

Give a lot of gifts to one character and complete that game. 

Start a new game on that saved game file and choose to play as the 

character that received the gifts in the previous game. Those items 

will be available in your inventory in the new game. 



-Bonus music tracks:

You can unlock two hidden music tracks in the game: "How Crazy Are 

You" (by Meja) and "Is This Love" (by Bob Marley). To obtain them, 

play through the game once. When you resume that saved game file, 

these two hidden songs will be available in the Radio Station.
