Final Fantasy V

---------------

-Easy Ability Points:
Go to the basement of Bal Castle in World 2. Here
you'll encounter Statues in groups of 2 or 5. However,
you will most likely find yourself having difficulty
with these stone warriors. Using a Soft potion will
kill them instantly! Just keep stocking up on Soft
potions and master all those classes that require
hundreds of ability points!

-Easy experience points:
In final fantasy 5, once you get the summon Bahamut,
there is an incredibly good and easy way to get tons
of experience points. Youll notice that if you follow
the mountain range south from North Mountain,(the
place where you got Bahamut,) there is a small patch
of trees where you landed your black chocobo to get
to the desert. Now that your there, simply walk up and
down in the area of the desert thats RIGHT next to the
forest. There, you will encounter enemys, which you
can EASILY kill with one hit by using Bahamut. The
enemys in that area can give you from 1200-1500
experience points! Just simply keep using Bahamut
first-thing in every battle, and once your summoner
runs out of magic points, simply take your black
chocobo, and fly a little ways south to a town where
you can use an Inn, and fully restore your HP and MP,
and then simply go back to the desert and repeat the
process. *NOTE: This will only work in THE THIRD
WORLD.. but once you get to the third world, this is
easily the best way to gain levels in the entire game!

-Finding Shiva:
Go to Waltz Castle and walk into the water on the roof.
Find the large waterfall, walk into the middle of it,
and continue to walk up the stairs until you see
a glowing ball. Walk up and talk to the ball. Fight
and defeat Shiva to get her as a summon.

-Finding Ramuh:
Get the airship and fly to Easterly Falls, up in the
northwest corner of the map. Walk around in the forest
until you encounter Ramuh. Fight and defeat Ramuh to
get him as a summon.

-Extra ABP:
In Phoenix Tower, after every few stairs you will reach
a room with two pots, one on each side of the room. One
of the pots contain money, but the other contains
a monster. The enemy is called "Magic Pot" and will not
attack you. He will say "Gimme Elixer". Use an Elixer on
him and he will reward with 100 ABP and an item. This is
possibly the easiest way to master tiems like Mimes,
Samurais, Chemists, and Ninjas.

-Get Hydra Summon:
In World 3, use the airship to return to the pirate's
base in the middle of the mountains. As you enter,
Faris will appear and run to the right side of the
base. He sees an illusion of Hydra. You will then get
to summon Hydra, who uses the very useful attack,
Thunder.

-Mirage Town:
Get the airship and fly to Cresent Island. Head to the
middle of the joined continent, and land next to
a forest there. Walk around in the forest until it
seems you have gotten into a battle. The screen will
be fuzzy instead of the normal swirl for starting
a battle. This town has extremely good weapons, 6
level six magic spells, and great armor. There are
two shops in every store, so search around the town.

-Black Chocobo in World 3:
Fly to Mirage Town and stand near the pub. If you go
around through a back door, you will appear behind
the counter of the pub. Check the barrels below you
to get a useful weapon, the Thief's Knife. Head left
to find some stairs, and continue through the area.
Put on the "Secret" ability or make one of your
characters a thief. Head through a secret passage to
find a door, and past that, a piano. Play the Piano
and head through the door to find the Black Chocobo.

-Chicken Knife or Brave Sword:
Go to the town of Moore in World 3. Head southwest to
find a barn-like location. Enter it to find yourself
in the forest below. Wander around until you find
a wizard who will tell to pick from two crates. Pick
the right one for the Chicken Knife, or the left one
for the Brave Sword. The Chicken Knife can be easily
powered-up, up so it is even more powerful than the
Excalibur. The Brave Sword powers up when you win
battles, the Chicken Knife powers up when you run.

-Magic Summoning Lamp:
In World 3, take Boko northeast then west until you
reach the top of Easterly Falls. Walk into the
waterfall and press X to get the Magic Lamp. It will
summon in this order: Bahamut, Leviathan, Odin, Hydra,
Carbuncle, Golem, Titan, Ifrit, Ramuh, Shiva, Remora,
Sylph, Chocobo. It uses no MP if you are summoning
weak monsters, or none. Return to the same location
to refill it.

------------------------------------------------------

Final Fantasy VI
----------------

-Defeating Atma Weapon:
Use RASP until Atma Weapon is out of MP to wound him.

-Quick MP:
In the World Of Balance, go to the triangular island
in the very top right corner. Keep walking around
until encountering the invisible monster called
Intangir. Simply chant death on it to gain 10 MP.

-Easy kills:
To instantly destroy almost any monster (including
most bosses), simply cast Vanish on them, then use
X-Zone. It will instantly destroy all invisible
enemies. Use Doom if there is only one enemy.

-Economizer Relic:
This relic is very useful, because it reduces your
magic cost to one point per spell! Here are three ways
to get it:

Go to the Phoenix Cave with Locke in one of your
parties. Steal from the Apuila (a bird creature),
and you will get an Economizer. Try several times,
because sometimes you'll just get Fenix Downs.
Go to the forest east of Gau's father's house.

Sometimes a Brachiosaur appears. Fight it and
sometimes it drops an Economizer.

Go to the Coliseum and bet a Gem Box. If you win the
battle, you'll receive an Economizer.

-Get Edgar's chainsaw:
In Zozo, there should be a clock in one of the
buildings. The answer to the clock puzzle is 6 hours,
10 minutes, and 50 seconds. This will get you Edgar's
chainsaw.

-Get Gogo:
In the World of Ruins, go to the Triangle Island and
fight a Zone-Eater. Let it suck your party up while
you go off to find Gogo.

-Get Umaro:
Go to Narshe in the World of Ruins, then go up to
where the Esper Tritoch is to fight the Esper. He
will give you his powers, and a chunk of the mountain
will fall down. If you enter the hole, you will find
a maze that leads to the Terrato Esper, some magicite,
and Umaro. If you have Mog on your team, he will join
you.

-Get Mog:
To get Mog before the World of Ruin, go to Narshe
after you get your girl from Zozo. (It should
automatically send you there.) Walk out of the
Elder's house in Narshe after she says she'll talk
to the Espers. Then go to the house with all the
treasures in it. (It's on the east side of the town
on the upper level.) You will see Lone Wolf stealing
the treasure out of the locked chest. Follow him out;
he will lead you up to an Esper, and threaten to
throw Mog off the edge of the cliff. Then the Esper
will knock them both off, and they will be hanging on.
If you save Lone Wolf, he will give you the gold
hairpin that he got out of the chest, and if you save
Mog, he will join your party.

-Get the Experience Egg:
In Darill's Tomb (World of Ruin), you can find the
Experience Egg relic. It doubles the number of
experience points a character gets after a battle.
First, find the seemingly worthless room with four
tombstones. On them will be carved four-letter phrases
that make no sense. Then find the room with the blank
tombstone in the upper-left area of the tomb. When you
go to the tombstone, it will ask you to carve an
inscription. The four nonsense phrases will appear.
Carefully order the phrases so that they will say
"The world is square" when they are lined up. Then you
will be told where to find the egg. In the third
basement, a wall will have opened up to the right of
the treasure chest. Walk through the wall and get the
egg.

-Get the Genji Glove:
You can get a Genji Glove when you are at the
returner's base for the first time when you go outside
and talk to Bannon. When he asks you to become the
last ray of hope (or something to that effect) say no,
and this time he will send you inside. Go back out and
say no again, and he will send you back in. Go out one
more time and say no again, and he will send you
inside, the injured soldier will come in, and you will
get a Genji Glove instead of the Gauntlet.

-Get the Moogle Charm:
When you first find Mog, talk to him, and he will join
your group. After this happens, walk to the wall that
was behind him and press Search. You will receive the
charm. With this item equipped, you cannot be attacked
by invisible monsters.

-Get the Paladin Shield:
To earn the Paladin Shield, you must get the Cursed
Shield from an old man in Narshe after you get the
Falcon Airship. Equip the shield and win 255 battles
with it. That will break the curse and give you the
Paladin Shield. You can complement the Paladin shield
nicely by equipping the ribbon. The character that has
both of these items will be impervious to every
ailment except the countdown timer.

-Get the Rename Card:
During the course of the game, you may find you don't
like the names you have selected for your characters.
Go to the Coliseum and bet the Elixir. If you defeat
Cactrot, you win the Rename Card. You can also bet it
for the mysterious Marvel Shoes, if you can beat the
Doom Dragon.

-Get the second Memento Ring:
Make your way to the second floor of Strago and Relm's
house. In the left-hand corner (the one with the
tables and chairs), face south and press A to gain
another Memento Ring.

-Getting Shadow in the World of Ruins:
If you can't seem to find Shadow anywhere after you
leave him behind and the world blows up, it's because
he's dead. To avoid this, when the game asks if you
want to wait for Shadow (before the World of Ruins
blows up), choose to wait for him. He'll arrive with
four seconds left on the timer, and your party will
automatically book it out of there. You can then find
him in the cave where you usually find Relm. He'll be
taken back to Relm's town but will soon leave. Go to
the coliseum and put up the weapon that you found in
the Veldt cave. You will be able to fight him--defeat
him and he's yours!

-Easily kill the Ghost Train:
To easily kill the Ghost Train, use a Fenix Down on it.

-Kill the undead easily:
When in a battle against a ghost or undead enemy, you
can use a Revivify or Fenix Down from the items menu,
and any life magic. This will kill undead enemies in
one shot.

-Quicker spell learning:
World of Balance:
First of all, one of your characters must know the
Doom spell. (If none do, the Snare spell from Mog's
"Dusk Requiem" dance works too, but not as well,
because it sometimes casts "Rock Slide" instead.) You
must also have the airship. Fly to the small island in
the northeast corner of the map where you would
normally find Zone-Eaters and Gogo's cave in the World
of Ruin. Run into some battles, and you will mostly
discover what appears to be nothing, but is actually
an invisible behemoth-like creature. When you start
the battle, it is asleep. Don't attack with any spell
besides Doom, or you'll be sorry. When you kill it,
you will get ten Magic Points toward new spells

-Easy Spell Learning:
World of Balance
Fly to the Triangular Island after learning the Doom
spell. You'll eventually come across an invisible
sleeping enemy. Use Doom on him. He might cast Meteo.
Each victory you eek out nets you 10 magic points
towards spell learning.

World of Ruin
Equip everyone with the Esper they are lacking in and
fly them to the Miranda Desert. Each Hoover here gives
you 5 Magic Points, while each Cactuar nets you 10.

-Easy experience points:
World of Balance
Before the Lete River quest, set your config on
"memory". Next, go through Lete River to the part
where if you go up, you circle and come back to the
same spot. Choose up and enter a battle. Have Edgar,
Terra, and Sabin attack while Banon uses "Health".
If you set a turbo controller for this, you can leave
it on all night.

World of Ruin
Equip Phantom and the Exp. Egg on one person, and have
them fly to Doma Island. Immediately into a battle,
cast Phantom. Fight here. Each battle grants you
6000-11,000 EXP per victory. The Tumbleweeds have
a spell that removes invisibility, so be careful.
After you get a person to level 80+ here, you should
fly to the Dino Forest near the Veldt. The enemies
here give you lots more, but they have spells that
remove your invisibility

-How to get the spell Ultima or the Ragonrok:
First you have to get Locke back in the Phoenix Cave
(2nd world). After that you must go to Narshe with
Locke in your Party. You go up to the weapon shop and
Locke should unlock it. Find a way into the backroom
and talk to the man. He will either Give you the
Esper stone with Ultima or he will give you the
Ragonrok Sword. I prefer the Ragonrok because it does
a critical hit every time and takes away 9999. Or
close to it. But you could Get the stone and that does
a good 4000+ to every Enemy

-Atma Weapon (sword):
This weapon grows stronger as its user's HP increases.
It also inflicts armor-piercing damage (like a Flare
spell) on its target. This can be a very useful weapon
against high-armor, low-HP enemies like the Cactrot.

-Ragnarok Sword:
The Ragnarok Sword consumes MP in order to inflict
a critical hit, like the Rune Edge. It also boosts
its user's evade rates by 40 percent, and randomly
casts "Flare" upon its target.

-Get Illumina Sword:
If you bet the Ragnarok Sword at the Dragon's Head
Colosseum, you can win an Illumina Sword.
The Illumina Sword consumes MP to inflict a critical
hit and boosts its user's evade rates by fifty percent

-Get Rename Card (easily):
Equip a character with both the Atma Weapon sword and
the Sniper Sight relic. Go to the Dragon's Head
colosseum and bet an Elixir, choosing that character
for battle. The character can kill the Cactrot in one
shot, guaranteed, by using their Fight command.

-Using the Cursed Shield:
The Cursed Shield has weak points for every element
(fire, ice, pearl, etc.). These weak points can be
nullified by equipping the shield on Terra (or Celes)
and also equipping the Minerva Body Armor.

-Removing its curse:
The easiest way to remove the curse from the Cursed
Shield is to equip it on either Terra or Celes along
with the Ribbon relic and the Minerva Body Armor.
This will negate the shield's weak points and prevent
its user from all status ailments except Condemned.

-Defeat Magic Master easily:
Drain all his MP with the Rasp and Osmose spells to
defeat him. Or, cast Life 3 on your entire team,
Vanish on your entire team, and Berserk on the Magic
Master. Deplete all his HP to defeat him, at which
point he'll do Ultima, inflicting about 5,000 damage
points on everybody, killing them, but don't worry
because Life 3 will bring them back.

-Easy Green Berets:
During Sabin's scenario early in the World of Balance,
search the desert Imperial base carefully for
a Telstar-in-a-box. Defeat it to earn a Green Beret.
Now continue on towards the Veldt. Telstars will
occasionally appear; defeating them will give you
extra Green Berets.

-Easy Minervas:
This is the best body armor for either Terra or Celes.
It makes them impervious to four elements and
resistant to the other four elements, protecting them
from almost all magic spells and attacks. In Umaro's
mines during the World of Ruin, search the caves to
find some "Pugs"-in-a-box. Defeat them to earn the
Minerva. Now go to the Veldt. Keep fighting until more
"Pugs" appear (be patient, it can take awhile); defeat
them to earn a second Minerva.

* Powerful attacks can't inflict any damage if they
miss. So, late in the game, try to max out your
character's Evade and MBlock rates.
The Ragnarok/Illumina swords, Zephyr Cape, Force
Shield, and Force Armor can help you accomplish this.
