-Useful Tricks 

If you hold R2 and move the right analog stick in different 

directions you can perform various different tricks and skills.



-Buying players:

If you want to buy a player, bid for them about 1 or 2 million 

above the asking price. This ensures you of signing that player.

Ronaldinho 

David Beckham

Ronaldo (either)

Tim Howard

Roberto Carlos

Alexandre Del Piero 

David Bellion

Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Hernan Crespo 



In the first year, it is almost impossible (unless you bid over 5 

million above the asking price) to buy Thiery Henry, David Becham, 

Ronaldo, and Del Piero.

-Fancy footwork:

At any time during play, hold R2 and move the Right Analog-stick 

to execute moves. Side to side does a stepover, back pulls the 

ball back, and rotating it in a circle does a maradona.



-Shoulder Drop:

When going towards an opponent, double tap the right analog stick 

in the direction of your choice. Player will drop shoulder and 

knock ball past opponent. 



-Drag and Go:

Hold R2 till player is standing still. Keep holding R2 and pull 

back right analog stick to put your foot on ball dragging back the 

opponent. Quickly press up or down and you'll knock ball past 

opponent. 



-The Marseille Roulette:

When dribbling with ball hold R2 and rotate right analog stick all 

the way round. Player steps over ball protecting it from other 

players.
