-New Game+

When you beat the game, stay after the credits and you will be 

asked to save. Save and reload then you will be able to start the 

game with your old stats, items and characters (except storyline 

characters)



-Good bonus points

Do the color combos. (they'll tell you how to do it in the game)



-How to get good weapons and lots o money

The best way to get lots of money and good weapons go to the item 

world with at least 10 characters that are strong. And please got 

to weak weapon first.(you'll still get the money and the good 

weapons)



-Hidden Switch

If you go behind the throne in the overlords castle and fress X it 

will ask you if you would like to press a switch. Currently i have 

no idea what that switch does but i hope to find out soon enough



-Another switch

There is another hidden switch in the skull in between the weapon 

and armor sellers at the beginning of the game.



-Selecting Monster Character with Little Mana

After defeating a monster it will show up in Character select. 

It will be selected only with lots of Mana. In order to get the 

Monster with little Mana, go where you can fight the Monster, and 

keep defeating him until its Mana cost drops to where you can get 

it at your cost. Every time you defeat it go to Character select 

and watch the mana drop.



-Level up characters and weapons quickly

To quickly get your characters and their weapon levels up, go to 

a stage that has a large amount of 'Invincibility' geopanels such 

as Episode 5, Stage 3. In stages like that you can manipulate the 

enemies onto the non-invincible geopannels and hammer away on them 

without having to worry about taking any damage. Once the enemies 

have become too weak to derive any real experience from, you can 

lift them and toss one onto the other to combine their levels, 

making one high leveled monster. Repeat the drill until your 

characters and weapon levels are where you want them.



-Move far without sacrificing other stats

If you unequip your attack/defense/other items and then equip 

movement items (shoes, hyperdrive, ect.), you can move very far, 

and before you attack you can re-equip your other items, and it 

wont move you back. Now you can attack with your re-equipped 

items. Just repeat this on your next turn.

Now you can move really far without sacrificing defense or attack 

damage. This is also useful if you have only a few movement items 

(especially hyperdrive), since you are un-equipping it every time 

you use it, your other characters can use it too.



-Pass any bill at the Dark Assembly

When you try to pass a difficult bill at the Dark Assembly, the 

only option normally available to you is to kill all of the 

opposing senators simply because it's nearly impossible to get 

a difficult bill passed legally. But who wants to constantly get 

into fights in which they're massively outnumbered by high-level 

enemies? 

Here's a nice trick to bypass the entire process. Before choosing 

to begin the vote, bribe a high level senator in the front row. 

Make absolutely sure he's on your side, then begin the vote. After 

the vote fails, choose to persuade by force and take a bunch of 

characters with long Throw distances into the battle. Rather than 

having to fight off a ton of senators, you can simply throw them 

onto your mole in the front row! So long as the level of the 

senator you're throwing is less than the senator doing the 

catching you'll be fine, and after throwing a couple of senators 

at the mole, the combined levels will be so high that you won't 

need to worry about levels at all. 



Repeat this process until all of the opposing senators are gone, 

and you avoid having to fight any of them. This is an excellent, 

cheap way to unlock a lot of bills well before you should be able 

to do so.



-Legendary Longinus Spear(Item) 

Get Level 25 Spear Mastery and talk to Longinus 



-Etnas Journal

If you hit the two switches(the one behind the throne in the 

overlords castle, the one in the skull between the weapon and 

armor sellers) you will unlock Etnas journal.



-Quick level gaining

I have a really quick way to gain levels. This method is only 

available after you reach a certain point in the game. After 

you've reached Episode 5, Scene 3, you can use this method 

(Jotunheim, Terrible Cold).



This board is made up of all invincibility tiles besides one green 

one in the corner near the invincibility triangle.



Throw all the enemies on top of each other (increases the level of 

the monster, but also increases the exp). When one really powerful 

monster remains, lure it over near the green tile. Throw the enemy 

onto the green tile and trap it there with your characters and 

attack until all its life is gone. It will be unable to damage you 

because you are invincible, but you will get the exp for killing a 

monster that is level 112!!



Another quick way is to perform this after summoning the committee 

and asking them to triple EXP.



-Extra Classes

Description On How To Obtain The 'Nine Hidden Classes' In Disgaea: 

Hour of Darkness 



Angel Female 

  Cleric, Knight and Archer all at level 100 or higher. 



Archer 

  Level 3 or higher in Bow Weapon Mastery. 



EDF Soldier 

  Level 30 or higher Gun Weapon Mastery. 



Knight 

  Female Warrior and Female Mage each at level 10 or higher. 



Majin 

  Male Warrior, Brawler, Ninja, Rogue and Scout all at level 200 

  or higher. 



Ninja 

  Male Fighter and Male Warrior with a total level of 20 or 

  higher. 



Rogue 

  Both Fighter and Warrior, Males or Females, each at level 5 or 

  higher. 



Ronin 

  Female Warrior and Female Fighter with a total level of 20 or 

  higher. 



Scout 

  2 Fighters/Warriors, Males or Females, each at level 5 or 

  higher. 





-Marjoly(lvl. 2500) 

Beat the last stage of Mysterious Seal 



-Priere(Lvl. 2000) 

Beat the last stage of Alt. Netherworld 





-How to unlock the secret levels

Alt. Netherworld 

  Get a high enough rank at the dark assembly,pass the bill.Used 

  for unlocking Priere 



Baal's tower 

  Beat all levels of Alt. Netherworld and Mysterious Seal.Used to 

  fight Baal and Uber-Prinny Baal 



Cave of Ordeals 

  Get a high enough rank and pass the bill for it.Used for extreme 

  leveling. 



Human world 

  Beat the human invasion chapters and pass the bill.Used for 

  getting the human conqueror ending. 



Mysterious Seal 

  Get a high enough rank at the assembly and do the bill.Used for 

  unlocking Marjoly. 



Prinny Land 

  After the reincarnation chapter,pass the bill.Used for unlocking 

  more prinnies. 





-Secret items

Diabolical Sword 

  Last Chapter: Speak to Ghoss. 



Etna's Chamber 

  Speak to the skull in the shop, then speak behind the throne. 

  Then her room will be in the corner of the next room where Ghoss 

  and Gargo is. 



God's Hand 

  Clear the Cave of Ordeals stage 5. Make sure you've unlocked it. 



Hyperdrive Shoes 

  Enter the Item World B100 and defeat the Item God 2. If you 

  exit, you must start over from B1. 



Longinus Spear 

  No necessary Chapter: Make sure at least one of your characters 

  has a spear mastery of 25 or higher. Enter the Dark Assembly, 

  then speak to Longinus. 



Mr. Gency's Exit 

  Chapter 3: Speak to the Dimensional Gatekeeper. 



Staff of Sorcery 

  Chapter 8: Speak to Gargo. 



Testament Emblem 

  Last Chapter: Be sure you unlocked Etna's Chamber at the start 

  of Chapter 1. Read each memory of hers at the end of each 

  chapter until the endgame. 



Vile Brilliance 

  Chapter 11:Speak to Manty. 



-Unlocking All Endings

Bad Ending 

  Defeat the Item God on the 100th floor of a Legendary item. 



Dark Assembly Ending 

  Use "Persuade by Force" 100 times in the Dark Assembly. 



Etna Heroine Ending 

  Kill 100 or more allies before Episode 5's "Ice Queen" battle 

  and select "Kill Maderas". 



Flonne Tragedy Ending 

  Kill 50 or more allies before Episode 3's "Lavish Hall" battle 

  and select "Kill Hoggmeiser". 



Good Ending 

  Play through the game without killing a single ally. Ally deaths 

  from Geo Panels do not count. 



Mid-Boss Ending 

  Get defeated by Mid-Boss in episode 1, 4, 6, or 10. 



Normal Ending 

  Do not fulfill the conditions for the Good, Bad, or Dark 

  Assembly endings. 



Overthrowing Earth Ending 

  Clear the Human World.
