-Unlock Easy Mode 

Simply die three times in a row. You will then open 

"Yasashii" Mode. You must go to the main menu and select 

the "Tokuten". Now simply go to the difficulty settings 

and choose Easy. 



-Unlock Hard Difficulty 

To unlock Hard difficulty, complete the game once. 

 

-Unlock Man in Black Mode 

To unlock Man in Black Mode, beat the game once. 

The Man in Black Mode allows you to play the game as the 

man in black. Run through the game and collect film rolls 

in order to unlock game FMVs. 

 

-Unlock One-Hit Kill Mode 

To unlock One-Hit Kill Mode, beat Team Onimusha Mode. 

One-Hit Kill Mode is the same game, except you can only 

damage enemies with one hit kills. 

 

-Unlock Team Onimusha Mode 

Beat the game once to unlock team Onimusha Mode, a special 

mini-game that allows you to play sections of the game 

through with a series of characters.  



-Critical mode ("issen" Mode)

Successfully complete Team Onimusha mode to unlock critical 

mode.



-Strongest equipment mode 

Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty 

setting. Then, start new game to begin with the Blazing 

Fire Sword, 20,000 in money, 30 Intense Medicines, 10 Wood, 

all level 3 armors, infinite ammunition, and skill always 

full.



-Mind twister mode 

Successfully complete the game with all eighteen artworks 

to unlock mind twister mode.



-Leather costume (JP Version) 

Successfully complete the game with the "Onimusha" rank to 

unlock a leather costume.



-Oyuu's alternate costume (JP Version) 

Get a 100% scenario completion to unlock an alternate 

costume for Oyuu.



-Unlock Extra Jubei (US Version) 

Acquire the Fashionable Goods item and complete the game with 

an "S" ranking to unlock Extra Jubei in the "Special Features" 

menu. With this toggled on, you can start a new game as Jubei with 

a hip leather pantsuit and sunglasses that can be put on and off 

by pressing L2. 



-Unlock Extra Oyu (US Version) 

Play the game repeatedly and make good alliances with the 

sub-characters until you acquire 100% of the scenarios in Scenario 

Route. Just keep doing this until all the scenarios have been 

revealed in the Scenario Route viewer. Once you accomplish that, 

Extra Oyu will be unlocked in the "Special Features" menu. 

With this toggled on, you can start a new game with Oyu with a 

stylish 70s outfit. 



-Puzzle Illusion Dream Dimension: 

Unlocked by clearing the game with all the Paintings of Beauties 

collected. 



-After Game Clear (JP) 

After Game Clear you will unlock the following: 

- Scenario Route 

- Man in Black Suit (mini game) 

- Oni Organization (mini game) 

- Puzzle Illusion Dream Dimension (mini game) 

- Hard Mode (added after game clear with Normal Mode) 

- Strongest Equipment Mode (added after game clear with Hard Mode) 

- Issen One Flash Mode (clear Oni Organization mini game)
