-Secret ending :

Enter the options screen from the main menu and select the 

"Opening Edit" option. Highlight the "Replay" selection, then 

hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press X. For the Japanese version 

of the game, hold L1 + R1 and press Circle.



-Level select :

At the main menu, press R1, R2, L2, L1, Square, L1, L2, R2, 

R1, Triangle. For the Japanese version of the game, press R1, 

R2, L2, L1, Square, R2, Triangle, L1 at the main menu.



-BGM Test option :

At the main menu, press L1(2), R1(2), L2(2), R2(2), Square, 

Triangle. For the Japanese version of the game, press Square, 

Triangle(2), Square, L1, R1, R2, L2 at the main menu



-Opening Edit option :

At the main menu, press R1, Square, R1, Triangle, R1, L1, 

Square, L1, Triangle, L1. For the Japanese version of the 

game, press R1, Square, L1, Square, R2, Triangle, L2, 

Triangle at the main menu.



-All FMV sequences :

At the main menu, press Triangle, L1, Triangle, R1, Triangle, 

Square, L2, Square, R2, Square. For the Japanese version of 

the game, press L1, Triangle, R1, Triangle, L2, Square, R2, 

Square at the main menu.



-Start with additional characters:

Start the game with a memory card with a saved game from 

Dynasty Warriors 2. Some characters unlocked in Dynasty 

Warriors 2 will be available in your new game.



-Play as Lu Bu:

On Hu Loa Gate, get over 1000 KOs and defeat Lu Bu to unlock 

him. This can only be done while on the Allied forces.



-Use the Red Hare on any level:

On Hu Loa Gate, once you defeat Lu Bu a supply unit will 

appear (usually to the north.) Defeat the supply captain and 

you will get a secret item. Equip the item to use it on any 

level.



-Edit Opening Animation:

To edit the opening animation, enter the following code at 

the title screen: R1, Square, L1, Square, R2, Triangle, L2, 

Triangle.



-Unlock All Levels:

To unlock all levels, enter the following code the the 

title screen: R1, R2, L2, L1, Square, R2, Triangle, L1.



-Unlock All Sound Tests:

To unlock all sound tests, enter the following code at the 

title screen: Square, Triangle, Triangle, Square, L1, R1, 

R2, L2.



-Unlock all Chars:

R2, R2, R2, L1, Triangle, L2, L2, L2, R1, Square.



-Unlock All Warriors:

To unlock all warriors, enter the following code at the 

title screen: Square, R1, Triangle, L1, Triangle, R2, 

Square, L2.



-Unlock All Wei Kingdom Warriors:

To unlock all Wei Kingdom warriors, press the following 

buttons at the title screen: Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, 

R2, L1, L2.



-All Shu generals:

At the main menu, press L1, Square, Triangle, R2, L1, L2(2), 

R1, Square, L1. For the Japanese version of the game, 

press L1, Square, Triangle, R2, L1, L2(2), R1 at the main menu.



-All Wu generals: 

At the main menu, press Triangle(2), L1, Square, R1, R2, 

L1, L2(3). For the Japanese version of the game, 

press Triangle, L1, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2(2) at the main menu.









-Secret Item: 

During the battle at "Hu Lao Gate" kill Lu Bu, it should say 

something like "An enemy supply has appeared." Go and kill the 

supply captain. He will drop an item called "Red Hare's 

Saddle." This item allows you to start on Lu Bu's horse..Red 

Hare! The best horse in the game! 



-How to Get the Hex Mark:

Go to Cheng Du and run to Pang Tong and help him before he 

dies. If you help him long enough so you will see the screen 

say Special item discoverd. Go to the spot where the white 

circles show you to go. Look for a crate in that area & bust it 

open with your weapon, it'll have an item pouch - pick it up. 

When you beat the level it will show you having a HEX mark 

(the hex mark gives you a grey horse).



-How to Get the Bodyguard Manual: 

Go to the level called the Seige of He Fan Castle. Go to where 

Xhu Zhu is at. Defeat him on the ridge; the screen will say 

'special item discovered'. When you beat the level it will show 

all the items you got. It will show you having a bodyguard 

manual which is supposed to make your bodyguards stronger.



-Fire Arrows: 

Play Chang Ban on the Hard Difficulty. You have to play on Cao 

Cao's forces. Defeat You Shu before the fire attack takes 

place. A special items message wll appear. 



-Mousou Always Maxed: 

Play Gyan Yu's escape level on Hard. An item message will 

appear around the 4th gate after killing all of the officers up 

to that point. 



-Get Imperial Saddle: 

To get the Imperial Saddle, which will let you mount any horse. 

Do the Battle at Yi Ling, you have to select the Shu forces. 

Defeat Zhu Ran before Wu's fire attack can take place. Then go 

to Lu Xun and defeat him. It will say supply unit discovered, 

then go to where the circles appear and kill the supply captain 

and get the item pouch. You will recieve the Imperial saddle.



-Get the Power Scroll:

To get the Power Scroll start the battle of He Fei, NOT the 

Siege of He Fei Castle. Select the Wei Forces, when Gan Ning 

Comes to attack Cao Cao, kill Gan Ning and get the item pouch 

that he leaves behind. You will get the Power Scroll. The Power 

Scroll will allow you to never lose weapon deadlocks.



-Get Life Up 10:

To get life up 10, which will slightly increase your heath 

meter. Do the Battle at Wu Zhang Plains, go to the mountain 

where Cao Cao is, find the gate that is farthest south and 

still on the mountain and there will be a pot. Break it open, 

you will get life up 10. You can do the battle as many times as 

you want until your life meter is full.



-Get Musou Up 10: 

To get musou up 10, which will slightly increase you musou 

meter. Do the Siege Of He Fei Castle, select the Wu forces. Go 

to Xu Zhu (the really fat guy), kill him, or run by him, (it 

doesn't matter what you do with him. Run all the way up to 

where there are a bunch of bowmen, kill them if you feel like 

it,(I suggest that you kill them or you just might get killed 

by them. There will be a pot, break it open and get the thing 

that came out of it and your musou meter will rise.(You can do 

that battle as many times as you want until it is full.)
