-Mega machine guns 

While playing a game, hold L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 and quickly 

press X(2), Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, 

a message will appear. Enter the code again to disable 

it. 



-One-hit kills 

While playing a game, hold L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 and quickly 

press X(2), Up. If you entered the code correctly, 

a message will appear. Enter the code again to disable 

it. 



-Infinite weapons 

While playing a game, hold L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 and quickly 

press Up, X, Left, Circle. If you entered the code 

correctly, a message will appear. Enter the code again 

to disable it



-Invincibility 

While playing a game, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press 

Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Down and Up. 

If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound 

and the words "Invulnerability On" will appear.



-Play as Warthog 

Enter story mode, select any character and go to the 

suburbs for the second level. Go to the hill with the 

ferris wheel and look for the smoke coming from the 

building. Jump on the building to its right from the 

hill viewpoint. Gain some speed and try to land in the 

middle of the building. You should fall through the 

building and see something that looks like a computer 

panel. Shoot it and it will reveal Warthog as 

a playable character.



-Exchange weapons for health 

While playing a game, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and quickly 

press Triangle, X, Square, Circle. If you entered the 

code correctly, the words "Weapons For Health" will 

appear on the screen. 



-Alternate weapon view 

While playing a game, press Select + Right. 



-Special freeze attack 

While playing a game, hold L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 and quickly 

press Right, Left, Up. 



-Energy Attacks

Freeze Attack: up, down, up

lay mine     : right, left , down

invisibility : left, left, down, down

shield       : right, right, down, down

Jump         : Cycle weapons left button + Cycle weapons 

               right button (simultaneously)

rear fire    : left, right, down + fire button 

               (does not need energy)



Use codes while playing the game 

NOTE:Codes only work if you have energy!



-Unlock Secret Characters

Yellow Jacket - blow up the plane with a fire missile in 

the Junkyard level. Find the crash site and go into the 

plane, you will find this area inside the plane that has 

this computer panel. Destroy it to get Yellow Jacket



Warthog - go to the carnival area. Look around. In the 

hills area, look for a gas can pickup. Destroy the 

buildings in the area. Look for a homing missle. 

From the homing missle pick up, look for that hill, and 

run towards it and the hill will act like a ramp. Brake 

as soon as your in the air. You will land on a building. 

Destroy the smaller building and go in the hole it 

makes. You'll find a small control panel. 

Destroy it to claim Warthog.



Axel - In the Freeway level, look for the repair 

station. In that area, look around and you'll find two 

cranes. One holds a pipe, the other, a cage like item. 

The cage crane has a yellow cage like box on the left 

side. To get axel, destroy the yellow box. Aim for the 

box on the hill with a fire missle. Move around. If you 

don't make it in one place, aim for the box in another 

place on the hill. This is tough, aiming for the box is 

hard, and with cars pounding you from all sides, it's 

even tougher. I got the shot in fromt the left area of 

the hill.



ManSlaughter - In the Prison level, after you land on 

the island, look at the docking area. You whould find 

a healt pickup somewhere near a bunch of crates. 

Destroy one of the crates to reveal a ramp. Go up the 

ramp and get the health. Part of the ship will be near 

the crates. Fire at that part of the ship. It will 

reveal a hole. Shoot the lever to reveal Manslaughter.



Minion - Beat the game with everybody.



Warhawk- In the junkyard level, drive onto the broken 

road and face the giant green man hanging from the crane.  

Once there destroy the giant green man and a piece of him 

will land near the giant crusher, use it to jump onto the 

crusher and ride it to the top and crash through the building 

there. Now turn around and there is a cube looking thing to 

the left floating in mid air, drive through it and you have 

unlocked Warhawk. 







-Warhawk's Rooftop level in multi-player mode 

At the Junkyard level, shoot down the green Pizza Boy 

statue (near the Old Warplane and crane). His pizza box 

will fall near the vertical crusher and form a ramp. Go 

to the ramp and line yourself up to the crusher. When 

the crusher falls, use the ramp. When on top of the 

crusher, there will be a building you can drive through 

to get some weapons. Off the side of that will be a 

rotating black cube. Jump off to the black cube to 

unlock Warhawk's Rooftop level in multi-player mode. 



-Prison Passage level in multi-player mode 

At the Suburbs level, go toward the downtown area, drive 

across the gaps, and stop on the second rooftop. Then, 

slowly turn toward the ocean and look for a power missle 

on top of the narrow roof nearby. Back-up your vehicle a 

bit on the current rooftop, and get a good start toward 

the other narrow rook with the power missle. After you 

pick-up the power missle, shoot the vent on top of the 

building to obtain a black cube that will unlock the 

Prison Passage level in multi-player mode.



-Minion's Stadium level in multi-player mode 

At the Downtown level, locate the set of buildings 

connected at the second story on one side of the 

river/bayou. You can find it easily when you drive 

between them, since there is a big section of wall that 

is very visible that you can shoot out to get to the 

elevators. There is one on each building. When facing 

the buildings from the river, take the left-hand 

elevator up. Then, circle around to the back of the 

building. Along the way you will notice that the ground 

changes color. About one car length to the left of that 

line is where you want to creep to the edge and barely 

fall off. You should hit the cube while falling. If not, 

you should be on a different level off of the ground -- 

jump (press L1 + R1) to get the cube. It can be seen 

from the ground floor once you know where to look. 



-Elevators level in multi-player mode 

At the Highway Loop level, go to the bridge with the gap 

in it. Go to the side opposite the long tunnel. Facing 

away from the bridge and to the left on the other side 

of the wall, you can see two round towers at what seems 

to be a powerplant. Hit the one closest to the bridge 

with a gas can. It will fall off and start rolling 

toward the bridge. Make sure you and no other enemies 

are in its path or it will break. It will slowly jump 

the bridge and will make a hole just inside the tunnel. 

You will find a black cube inside that will unlock the 

Elevators level in multi-player mode.



-Power Plant level in multi-player mode 

At the Snowy Roads level, go just beyond the barriers 

toward the cliff in the area with the restaurant, on the 

southern side of the level (to your right if you're 

facing toward the road in front of the restaurant). 

Carefully follow the edge of the level to find a black 

cube that will unlock the Power Plant level in 

multi-player mode.



-Sewer level in multi-player mode 

At the Skyscrapers level, go to the bottom of the 

crashed plane and to the left (if you were exiting the 

plane) is a small billboard. Shoot down the billboard 

and it will form a bridge between the gap of the two 

buildings. Place yourself in the center of the board and 

aim yourself toward the inner part of the hole. 

Depending on your vehicle, you will have to drive off at 

a different speed to get the black cube. Note: You will 

have to lose a life to get this black cube.



-Skyscrapers level in multi-player mode 

At Warhawk's Rooftop level, look for where the tankers 

are coming from on the Rooftop. Then, align your vehicle 

perpendicular to the building that has hangars that the 

tankers come out of on top. Drive full speed straight 

off the edge toward the tanker building to find a black 

cube that will unlock the Skyscrapers level in 

multi-player mode. This may take multiple attempts. 



-Raven's second special attack 

While playing as Raven, highlight the special weapon 

icon, then press Up(3) to have Raven pop out the top of 

the car and attack the nearest opponent with a machine 

gun.



-Axel's second special attack 

While playing as Axel, highlight the special weapon 

icon, then press Up(3).



-Minion's second special attack 

While playing as Minion, highlight the special weapon 

icon, then press Up(3).



-Extra health 

After destroying an enemy car, run over the flaming 

driver for a little boost of health.



-Defeating Warhawk 

Shoot the tankers while they are on the helipad. Wait 

for Warhawk to hover over the helipad and explode the 

tankers. Warhawk's shields will take damage. After doing 

that about four times, Warhawk's shields will be 

destroyed and the Tankers will stop appearing. Remember 

to restore your health often on the level, and hide when 

you need to. Also try using the "Satellite" weapon for 

major damage.



-Electrocute men in Prison Passage level 

On the Prison Passage level, you can run over a box 

marked "Danger High Voltage" and watch the three men who 

are sitting in chairs get electrocuted. They are near 

the front of the ship on a platform. The box is right in 

front of them.



-Translated Minion codes 

At the load screen for each level while playing as 

Minion, there are a bunch of numbers instead of words 

like with the other characters. These numbers can be 

translated into words. The formula used is 1=A, 2=B, 

3=C, etc. Here are is what you get when you translate 

the numbers:



1. I do not think this is real. 

2. I must speak in code or he will discover me. 

3. We are trapped in his head. 

4. This is how he sees the world, how Sweet Tooth 

   sees his life, it is not real. 

5. All of us are trapped in his head. 

6. I miss the old colorful world. 

7. We will return to old world one day. 

8. In the real world my name is Marcus Kane.
