-Guided Tour

Go to the phone at the beginning of the first level. A 

"Schmidt" car will appear below. Enter it and wait for 

instructions. After finishing the tour, a machine gun and 

a GTA2 sign will appear below the church. 



-Wang Cars Bonus

Get all eight Wang cars to get a fire truck that shoots 

both fire and water; 4 Furor GTs (one with 50 machine 

guns, two with 50 mines and one with 50 oil slicks), a 

tank with 20 rockets, a special agent car with 50 machine 

guns, and an armed land roamer with 20 military machine 

gun rounds. 



-Get an Easy Accuracy Bonus

To easily get an Accuracy Bonus, first get a weapon - any 

weapon will do. Knock any person down (ie: punch them). 

While they're down shoot them and when they get up dying, 

shoot them again and you'll get an Accuracy Bonus. Keep 

repeating until you get millions. 



-Bonus level 

Collect all the GTA 2 Shields to play a special level.

 

-Tune radio: 

While driving a car that has a radio, press Up to change 

stations.

  

-Cheat Codes 

Enter "GOURANGA" as a name to enable cheat mode. 

Then, enter one of the following names before starting 

a level to activate the corresponding cheat function. 

Note: Some codes may only work in the North American 

version, while others may only work in the 

European/Australian PAL version.

In the Data folder, which is located in the game folder, 

there is a file NYC.GCI. Make a backup copy of this file 

before editing anything, then open it up with any text 

editor. In the file are stats and more for all the cars 

in the game.

Hint 1:

The cops can be your friend, especially when you're in 

rival gang territory and you need some additional firepower.

Make sure there's a cop around when the gang attacks you. 

As long as you don't shoot back, the police will attack 

the rival gang, effectively providing you with cover. 

 

Hint 2:

Weapon pickups regenerate. If you're not under a time limit,

hang out until a weapon respawns, then pick it up for more 

ammo.

Collect the little GTA2 logos to unlock bonus missions.

Be on the lookout for ramps. To see where the ramps lead, 

get a good head start to build up some speed. They almost

always send you somewhere that has a special bonus.

Don't be afraid to jump in cars, usually, the car just 

sustains a little damade, and for some jumps you can get

one of at least two stunt bonuses
