-Cheat Menu

Go into your \Anachronox\anoxdata\CONFIGS\Default.cfg 

file. There is a line that reads set debug 0. Change the 

zero to a one. Then start up the game (it'll start in 

debug mode, which will show you lots of text messages). 

Once you're in the game, you can bring down the console 

by typing the tilde (~) key, and then type in the cheat 

"invoke 1:86".

Modify Game Speed

Use the console and type "timescale #" where # = 



greater than 0 and less than 1 then game slows down

equal to 1 then game is running at normal speed

greater than 1 then game speeds up (great for long video 

sequences





-Changing Maps 

We recommend you do your map changes using the cheat 

menu described above. If you're stubborn though and want 

to use the Quake 2 method, you can. 



Edit the config file as above to put the game in debug 

mode, and at the console use the command map (mapname) 

where (mapname) comes from the following list. Be warned 

though that some of these maps will lock up if you don't 

enter them with the right game variables.

-Cobalt Crawlers:

To get the 8 Cobalt Crawlers easily, use the invoke 1:86 code 

to enable cheat mode and select to "Choose Map" at the cheat 

menu. Select "Democratus Surface", then 

"Ballotine/Doren/Whitendon" in that order to go the Whitendon 

map. Once there, open the console window and type invoke 

87:3035. There will be a dialogue -- click through it, and 

receive a cobalt crawler. Repeat it another seven times to 

get the eight needed to assemble Hecatomb, the game's most 

powerful Mystech. Note: This is only useful once you have 

passed the Elementor introduction by Grumpos in Hephaestus. 





-Flower Petals:

To get flower petals to upgrade your Beetles in the Elementor 

window without having to exit and reenter the area you found 

one in, or wait for it to regenerate, open the console window 

and type invoke 30:2000. You can keep doing this as many 

times as needed with a regeneration time of a few seconds, as 

long as you are in an area where there actually is 

a lifeflower
