-Play any Mini Game with only 2,500 points earned

Once you have earned the first 2,500 points in the game, save 

to memory. Now go to the Mini-games section. One there, you 

will see options to purchase one of the three mini-games -- 

Monkey Pool, Monkey Bowling or Monkey Golf. Each one costs 

2,500 points. The trick here is to remove your memory card 

from the machine at this point. Now you can select whichever 

mini game you'd like to play and it the game will not deduct 

the points from your earnings, as it won't be able to save. 

If you'd like to try a different mini game, simply reset Super 

Monkey Ball and repeat the process.



-Bonus level 

Select any difficulty setting and complete all normal levels. 

A bonus level will start during the credits. Get as many 

bananas as you can while avoiding the falling letters from 

the credits.



-Play Extra and Master Levels (North American Version)

The following levels are unlockable, and once unlocked, and can be 

played in Practice Mode.



Advanced Extra

   Play through Advanced mode without losing a life to unlock 5 

  levels. 

Beginner Extra 

  Play through Beginner mode without losing a life to unlock 3 

  levels. 

Expert Extra  

  Play through Expert mode without using a continue to unlock 10 

  levels. 

Master 

  Play through the Expert & Expert Extra levels without using a 

  continue to unlock 10 levels. 



-Play Extra Levels (Japanese Version)

Unlocking the extra levels allows you to play them in Level 

select.



Extra Easy 

  Beat Easy without continuing to access the 3 Easy Extras. 

Extra Expert 

  Beat Expert without continuing to access the 10 Expert Extras. 

Extra Normal 

  Beat Normal without continuing to access the 5 Normal Extras 

Master 

  Beat Expert and Expert Extra without continuing to play the 10 

  Master Levels. 

 



-Play Extra/Master Stages in Practice Mode

After reaching them in the Normal mode, you CAN play the Extra and 

Master stages in Practice mode. When selecting the difficulty from 

''Beginner'', ''Advanced'', and ''Expert'', simply go further to 

the right, and you'll be able to select the Extra and Master 

stages.



-Infinite continues 

After you buy all three mini-games, for every 2,500 play 

points you get, you will gain an extra continue. After you 

reach nine continues, the game will give you unlimited 

continues.



-Finding bananas 

Note where your monkey's head is turning to find the closest 

banana, whether it can be picked up or not.
