-Erase Data

Like in the first Advance Wars, you can erase your save data by 

holding L+Right+Select before turning the game on



-Gold Menu Icons

To turn your menu icons from their regular colors into Sparkling 

Gold, do the tasks below for each icon. 



Gold Battle Maps Icon  - Buy everything from Hachi 

Gold Campaign Icon     - Beat all levels including secret ones in 

                         Normal Campaign 

Gold Design Room Icon  - Buy all CO Edits from Hachi 

Gold Link Icon         - This will automatically turn Gold after 

                         the other 5 have been activated

Gold Versus Icon       - Buy and play every map at least once (win 

                         or lose) 

Gold War Room Icon     - Buy and Beat every war room map with any 

                         grade 



-Unlock Gallery

To unlock the Gallery, beat the Campaign. To unlock the all 

pictures, beat the Hard Campaign. The gallery is found in the 

Sound Room



-Hard Mode 

Beat the game on easy, then go to Hachi's store and buy Hard Mode 

for 1000 points. To play press Select when starting a new 

campaign. 



-Unlock COs 

Unlock the following COs by doing the prerequisites: 

Unlock Drake  - clear the Green Earth Campaign 

Unlock Eagle  - clear the Green Earth Campaign 

Unlock Olaf   - clear the Blue Moon Campaign 

Unlock Grit   - clear the Blue Moon Campaign 

Unlock Hachi  - clear any campaign on Hard Mode 

Unlock Hawke  - clear any Campaign Mode 

Unlock Kanbei - clear the Yellow Comet Campaign 

Unlock Sonja  - clear the Yellow Comet Campaign 

Unlcok Adder  - clear any Campaign Mode 

Unlock Jess   - recruit Drake or Eagle and Jess will be available 

Unlock Lash   - clear any Campaign Mode 

Unlock Colin  - recruit Grit or Olaf and Colin will be available 

Unlock Sensei - recruit Kanbei or Sonja and Sensei will 

                be available 

Unlock Nell   - achieve an overall A rank in Campaign mode 

Unlock Sturm  - achieve an overall A rank in Campaign mode 

 

-Unlock Sound Test 

Earn an S rank in the normal campaign to open the soundtest for 

purchase. It costs a mere 5000 points. 



-Special Design Map

Go to ''Design Mode'' and click on ''Map''. Then hold the L and R 

buttons while it's loading. Once you get there, you should see 

a map with three Japenese letters on it made out of mountains.

 

-Unlock The Neotanks 

Capture a specific city on each map to earn a lab map. You must 

then clear a hidden mission to earn unlock the Neotanks. 

Each force needs to do this to access Neotank technology. 



Orange Star 

:On the mission Flak Attack, capture the city just north of your HQ. 

 Secret Level: Test of Time 



Blue Moon 

:On the mission Toy Box, capture the southmost, westernmost city. 

 It is the city on the island. 

 Secret Level: Neotanks!? 



Yellow Comet

:On the mission Show Stopper, capture the southmost, westernmost 

 city. 

 Secret Level: Sea of Hope 



Green Earth 

:On the mission Sinking Feeling, capture the southernmost city on the 

 island towards the west. 

 Secret Level: Danger X9 





-Campaign mode - in-game hints

In campaign mode, if you are stuck on a level, just yield and the 

characters will give you hints on how to beat the level.



-Easy Gold Multiplayer

An easy way to get the Gold Multiplayer tab is start any map and 

then immediatley yield. Repeat this for all levels. With 3 & 4 

Player Maps, play as 2 or 3 people and yield for them all. It will 

count as a played and that much faster to get the Gold then 

playing them all.



-Special Design Map

spell out Nintendo.
